EIFFEL TOWER, PARIS

.....what would Paris be like without Eiffel Tower.....(@~@)

About it....
Eiffel Tower, Paris
The Eiffel Tower is one of the famous monuments in the world, designed with Gustave Eiffel in 1889. The Eiffel Tower is about 324 metres and 10,100 tonnes. It took only two years, two month and five days to build this tower. It was made of iron and has three levels:

1) First floor: displays on the tower's history, to send a post card right from the tower or to dine at the Altitude 95 restaurant.
2) Second floor: visit the more upscale Jules Verne restaurant.

  • both floor have souvenir shop and interenet kiosks.
3) Third floor: get a view of the city (and there are panoramic guides to tell you are seeing). This is so high-up, though, it can be difficult to make things out.

The reason why do people visit the Eiffel Tower:

  • because it is technically impressive, especially when you consider that is was built more than a century ago.
  • because they find it beautiful.
  • because they have seen it in pictures and film heard about it and its a very unusual building.
  • because they have a view of Paris and all its surroundings, as far as 80km.
  • because it was once and decades, the tallest monument in the world.
